The Pavement Segment polygon feature class is used to delineate the boundaries of paved areas such as bridges, driveways, docks, piers, parking, pathways, patios, terraces, ramps, roads, sidewalks, sport surfaces, and stairways. Unique polygons should be used to delineate different types, materials, and even ages of paved areas. Ages and conditions can be used to predict Pavement Condition Index ratings that are useful for planning resurfacing. This feature class can be used to generate centerlines stored in the Pavement Centerline polyline feature class that can be used for routing. This feature class is related to Bollards, Planted Hardscape, Traffic Calming, Traffic Sign, and Curb.

[ "ArcGIS Public Garden Data Model", "Facilities", "Pavement Segment", "Bridge", "Driveway", "Dock", "Pier", "Parking", "Pathway", "Patio", "Terrace", "Ramp", "Road", "Sidewalk", "Sport Surface", "Stairway
